Anne began playing the violin when she was 4 ½ years old, after she had apparently become attracted to a family friend's set of violins. At that time, she began lessons with Ruth Sadasivan, from whom she still takes lessons. Anne is currently concertmaster of Olathe Northwest's Advanced Orchestra and the Kansas City Youth Symphony's Academy Orchestra, and enjoys being able to play music with friends in both groups.
Anne is currently a junior at Olathe Northwest and enjoys her classes, especially mathematics. She is a member of the Math Club and National Honor Society at Olathe Northwest. Outside of school, she teaches violin to two students and is a member of her church's folk group and youth group. Anne enjoys reading, playing with animals, hanging out with friends, and making crafts.
