Noelle Schlenk, oboe soloist, is a senior at Olathe South High School. During her years in high school, Noelle was a member of many Olathe South ensembles, including the Falcon Jazz Ensemble, French Horn Choir, Clarinet Choir, Flute Choir, Wind Ensemble, and Falcon Regiment, where she served as Drum Major. Noelle has also been involved in many local (high school and professional) pit orchestras as an experienced flutist, oboist, clarinetist, and saxophonist. In addition, she currently plays bassoon for her school Symphonic Band. After high school, Noelle plans to double-major in oboe performance and music education at the University of Kansas. She hopes to someday become a professional musician, specializing in multiple woodwinds. Noelle would like to dedicate this performance to her late oboe teacher, Katrinka, who inspired her to pursue music for the rest of her life.
